MEET WESHNA
Her journey began in Mauritius with a BSc (Hons) in Textile & Fashion Design, where she discovered her love for beauty, detail, and creating meaningful experiences. Early in her career, she was chosen as a designer for national beauty pageants, including Miss Mauritius — a role that shaped her eye for elegance and perfection.

She then spent 14 years in Toronto, Canada, gaining international exposure and expanding her knowledge through studies in Business and Strategic Management. This unique mix of creativity and strong planning skills became the foundation of her work. She has had the privilege of working on high-profile projects with celebrities such as Drake, Cindy Crawford, and Eduardo Cosentino (CEO of Cosentino Americas), among others.

Inspired by global trends and cultural influences from her lengthy stay in US, Canada, India and beyond, she returned to Mauritius with a clear vision — to create weddings that feel personal, refined, and unforgettable. Through SugarBrides, she brings passion, precision, and heart into every celebration.
